I am a Christian who is married with two teenagers and pastors Hope City Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I love people, books, THE church, good coffee, expensive wine, and medium-rare steaks. I avoid arguments about politics and church growth. I like sour candy, sci-fi movies and my Macbook.
I am an introvert who loves being with people…until I don’t. I recharge by going to the movies by myself and binge eating entire sleeves of Fig Newtons. I hate the beach. I love the mountains. I love the destination but hate to travel. Pastoring is a calling and a joy and a regular difficulty to my people-pleasing bent. I work with the best people on the planet. I love my church and those who call our tribe home. I’m still figuring out what it means to live well and for God’s glory.
