This coming weekend is one of my favorites in our church. It’s called our Big Give weekend. We take every dollar that you give and then turn around and give it away. Yep, all of it! No penny goes to budget or salaries or building. Last year we gave away $10,000 to local city organizations that are doing good here in our city. We literally put our money where our mouth was. It was so fun to see our church cheer and cry as we got to partner with what God was doing all over our city.

This weekend, our BIG GIVE is going outside of our city. While there are countless needs here, all of us are feeling the weight of what has happened in Houston and Florida due to the recent hurricanes. We felt like a shift in our BIG GIVE weekend was appropriate. Thankfully, our partnership with Convoy of Hope is a perfect way for us to have peace of mind knowing our money and investment is going where it is needed most.
